Previously, Inland Revenue NZ used a wide range of brand elements, some of which were quite dated in their application. This was confusing for staff and audiences and was it an obstacle to Inland Revenue NZ being able to communicate with one voice. Additionally, the old set of brand guidelines did not provide any digital guidance. The new set of guidelines have been developed and designed to support the new IRD website and also include additional brand elements, including a new suite of icons, design devices and a brand new commissioned image library, it contains all staff and engaged agencies need to know about how the IRD brand should be used across print and digital, ensuring the brand remains consistent.
